The Director of Events will be a capable manager with team and events know-how, sound financial practices, project planning, team building skills, and mentoring abilities.

The Director of Events will be a capable manager with team and events know-how, sound financial practices, project planning, team building skills, and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to conceive, develop and implement programs that build client brand and provide a foundation to drive growth
- Develop and maintain organization through all events
- Manage internal and external staff on execution and delivery of programs
- Is highly proficient in budgeting and tracking of event accounts and ensure financial management
- Possess and develop key strategic vendor/partners related to events, sponsorships
- Lead and plan large scale live events with small or large teams
- Apply best practices and learnings from previous projects
- Minimum 10 years event marketing, production and team management experience
- Production of live events, a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong working relationships and contacts (fashion, events, talent agencies)
- Have the ability to manage the production with small teams
- A thoroughly developed knowledge of our industry, entrepreneurial settings
- Willing and able to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel as required
- Must have professional appearance and persona with a strong work ethic, roll-up your sleeves mentality and a positive, can-do attitude
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to manage individual tasks effectively
- 5-10 Years of relevant luxury retail brand experience
- Four year college degree required
